The West Coast Events Centre is conveniently located between the two major West Coast towns of Greymouth and Hokitika. Just 3kms off the main highway (SH6).

The West Coast of New Zealand’s South Island offers a truly unique alternative for your next conference or event. With it’s extreme and unpopulated environment, it’s as far away from the city as you can get, all while maintaining the comforts of home.

The events centre sits within Shantytown Heritage Park, situated on 500 acres of native rainforest. The beautiful vistas and serenity of your surroundings will enable your delegates to focus on the business at hand. Abundant birdsong is only occasionally broken by the short whistle of our steam train departing from Shantytown Train Station.

The Golden Nugget Saloon adjoining the Miner’s Hall is ideal for pre-dinner or post meeting drinks.
